1.After hockey practice you notice a bruise forming on your leg.  How will the bruise heal?  Which systems will be involved in the healing process?  What is happening at the cellular level?  

2.  A friend of yours has been smoking cigarettes for a couple of years. You decide to enlighten him about the hazards of smoking.  In the hopes that this will help convince him to quit smoking, you describe the following terms:  a carcinogen, growth of cancerous cells, and normal cells.   

3.  Which organ system is involved in gas exchange?  Explain the role of the major organs with respect to gas exchange.  Also, explain the cell specialization in the various organs of this system.
