1. make a list of assets an organization might need. (Any organization of your choice)

2. Select ONE of those assets to depreciate, estimate the useful life, residual value.

3. determine which depreciation method(s) you will use and explain how you determined the useful lives, residual values, and why you selected the depreciation method you used.

4. prepare a journal entry to record the depreciation expense for the first year
