Breastteeding has many protective and health promoting benefits. Because of this, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends exclusive breastfeeding for infants for the first 6 months of life. Suppose you are interested in studying the effect of exclusive breastfeeding on the occurrence of certain childhood illnesses among infants during the first year of life. The Oregon Health Authority has been collecting longitudinal data in a cohort study on the health behavior of mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. The data also includes information about the child's health and use of health services during the first year of life. All of the data is organized annually, by birth cohort for infants born between January 1 st and December 31 st of each year. Exposure: Infants are considered exposed if they WERE NOT exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months of life (ie, they were either weaned before 6 months ore were given other foods - including formula - before 6 months of age). Infants are considered unexposed if they WERE exclusively breastfed for at least the first 6 months of life. Outcome: The outcome is an increased need for medical visits (either to the doctor or to a hospital or urgent care facility) beyond the standard childhood wellness exams. These extra visits to obtain healthcare for illness are termed "sick visits." Infants are considered to have the outcome of interest (high rate of illness) if they have >3 "sick visits" during their furst year of life. Infants who only sought medical care for standard wellness exams or who had 3 "sick visits." Of these 31 infants with this outcome (high rate of illness), only 26 were "exposed" to non-exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months of life. Calculate the Risk Ratio (RR) describing your findings (round to the nearest tenth)
