I'm looking forward to teaching this class as I LOVE teaching AJ 2.

Here is my Intro (your Intro doesn't have to be as long, but it must be at least 250 words for credit).

Hello All,

My name is Eva Lopez and I am a former graduate from ELAC with an AA in Administration of Justice. I moved on to CSULA and received my Bachelor'sDegree in Criminal Justice and continued on to obtain a Masters also in Criminal Justice. I have been teaching Administration of Justice for about 12 years at ELAC along with teaching and doing Academic Advisement at CSULA.

I recently retired from CSULA and just focus on teaching for the Community Colleges. I have five children and six grandchildren with whom I enjoy spending time with whenever I have the chance. We travel at least 1/2 times a year and I love that they can have theseexperiences.

My greatest accomplishment is raising my five children, share with me what you feel yours is!

On my time off, I TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!! I love going to NY and San Francisco, Mexico the DR and many other new places.

I am so glad you have decided to take this class and I hope you enjoy learning about the CJ system as much as I enjoy teaching it!

OK, now that you have read my Intro, submit your intro (go to the bottom left and open the reply tab)

AND

Explain the criminal justice process as you know it- Not what Chat GTP tells you.

For example, what do the police need to investigate people, arrest them, and read their Miranda rights. How does a person get charged with a crime? How does a person get convicted of a crime? Do police officers always need a warrant to enter a home? Can police officers arrest without evidence? What are three major court appearances?

I don't expect students to know the exact process. Please give me your thoughts- no need to go to the internet and copy something.

Points will NOT be deducted for not knowing the process. You will receive full credit as long as you attempt to submit a thoughtful response and your response has a minimum of 250 words
