Throughout my college experiences so far the major thing that I have noticed when it comes to the writing process, is that I need to manage my time prior to the due date of the assignment because writing to meet a deadline has a great impact on my quality of work. This has led to me missing key points in writing assignments or lacking sources because I did not properly prepare for the assignment. Another key thing that I have noticed from feedback from my previous courses is that my writing style has varied depending on how much prior knowledge I have on the subject. If I have experience in the subject matter prior to the assignment it is much easier for me to find sources for what I am trying to portray in my writing. Having the knowledge has also helped me to better organize my thoughts and allow for better transitions throughout my papers. One thing that I could do to improve my writing is having better time management skills so that I have the time to plan out my paper before I start to write it so that it has the better flow.
