"Hello Course mates,
This week's course content gave me a little PTSD as my last class was a stats class and I passed but only by the skin of my scalp, but one must embrace the grind so here we go.
Regression analysis is a stats method used to determine the relationship between set variables identified in the area being looked at. To Find the variables that influence an issue can be done with Regression analysis. A Program manager or contractor can establish which variables are important to the data and which ones can be excluded. Regression analysis is frequently used within researcher to look at and determine a correlation between multiple variables of interest. The analysis offers the chance to evaluate the impact of sometimes multiple independent factors on a single dependent variable. Regression analysis is a method that can save researchers time by eliminating the collection of multiple variables and testing each one's impact individually.
Line of best fit: Is the straight line that minimizes the distance between itself and data. The line of best fit is used to express the relationship in a scatter plot amongst different data points. The Line of best fit is an output of regression analysis and can be used as a prediction tool dealing with indicators and price point changes.
R^2 Value: a measurement in a regression model that shows the proportion of variance in a dependent variable that can be determined by the independent variable. R^2 will ultimately show the user how well the data will fit a regression model.
Slope: The slope is an estimate of how much a dependent variable will change a unit within the independent variable.
