Please provider 4 possible diagnoses for Christie below. Please explain how she meets the diagnostic criteria for each of your diagnoses. How would both Freud and Skinner explain Christie's symptoms and behavior? Christie is a 60-year-old Caucasian female. She was born and raised in upper middle-class Dallas and now lives in Portland, Oregon. She presents for a psychological evaluation in order to get Disability Payments from the government. She reports that she cannot work as she has several medical conditions that are NOT recognized by the medical establishment. She also reports the following mental health issues, depression and anxiety. Other symptoms include: brain fog, chronic fatigue, memory problems, trigger point pain in her body, and chemical sensitivities. She states that she remembers being raped when she was 2 months old. Her mother was a very attractive country club mom who never read to her or gave her a birthday party. Christie is bald. She shaves her head. She is dressed in tie dye. She was married once to a man named Freedom. She has one child, a 25-year-old male that she is estranged from. She smokes marijuana daily, starting in the morning. She is now self-described as a lesbian. She has claimed to practice a variety of religions. She now identified with being a high priestess witch. Although she does not work, she is very physically active. She hikes, kayaks, and goes camping regularly. She frequently goes to theater and museum events. She already gets food stamps and discount tickets to events from county assistance. She feels entitled to the good life, even though she has never earned more than 20,000 per year in her entire life. She has been caught lying to previous Disability Evaluators about her issues and symptoms. Even though her Disability Claim has been denied twice, she still believes she deserves disability money. An interview was completed with her brother. He reported that Christie has been a stressor for him his entire adult life. She was unable to adequately care for her son, and he and his wife took in the boy at times to protect him. She has used numerous drugs on and off. She has lied about her medical conditions and conned money out of him. She can rage when thwarted. She has been observed screaming at people who challenge her. When asked to work, she reports physical symptoms. She drops hints about going on lavish vacations, as she is so stressed with her illnesses, that her brother should pay for.
