Please put yourself in the role of a Company Plant Controller recently appointed. You are in the position for 2 months now and had enough time to understand the main challenges the position faces to contribute to the Company overall success in the plant. The following considerations show the current scenario: the plant is a multi-customer operation, it has a wide range of processes (one of the most complex within the group), the Operations team is mature and some of the paradigm I always did like this and it worked exists, but the market production volume dropped more than 20% and it is necessary to revise and challenge the plant to that new level in order to keep the profitability.
