This discussion will focus primarily around 3 of the data visualization software's that were found after conducting some research. The outcome of the research focuses on each software and what are some of the benefits and downfalls that can be associated with that particular software.

To begin, we will take a look at Datawarapper:

Benefits:

- Free to use without having to download or sign in

- User friendly

- Variety of charts, maps, and tables to choose from

- Can upload your own dataset or choose from one of their free sample sets

Downfalls:

- Not a big variety of sample data sets available to choose feom

- Doesn't work well with bigger data sets, more for smaller simple data sets

- From experience, site glitches when attempting to upload a dataset

Next, let's take a look at FusionCharts:

Benefits:

- Free 14 day download trial

- Supports a variety of larger data sets

- Can be used through a mobile or desktop version

- Variety of charts, maps, graphs, and tables to choose from

Downfalls:

- After free trial ends, you have to pay

- Basic plan starting at $439 up to $3,399 for an enterprise plan

Lastly, let's take a look at HighCharts:

Benefits:

- User friendly for first time users

- Supports larger datasets

- Free for personal use

- Variety of interactive charts, graphs, maps to choose from

Downfalls:

- commercial users have to pay to use

- Plan prices range from $160-$788

Overall, all of the data visualization software's that are listed above can help an individual transfer data from a dataset into a visualization for easier analysis. However, depending on the size of the data set, the budget of the user, and how complicated or user friendly the individual wants the software to be will determine which software is best for them.
