Please read Ibarra's HRB article on the Authenticity Paradox, and pay a special focus on how leadership is culturally relevant. In other words, different cultures view positive leadership attributes differently. This can be challenging for people living in a new cultural context and striving to be an authentic leader. After reviewing the subsection by Meyers, please visit the GLOBE website and select a country of interest. Perhaps a country that you are intending to visit or a country where you suspect you might conduct business at some point in the future.

Once you access the data, the first step is to carefully review the Cultural Practices and Values. This will give you deep cultural insight. As our focus in this course is on leadership, please hone your attention on the Leadership Visualization section. Please share your thoughts on the insight that you gain.
