I think Adam and the management team went wrong by picking Friday afternoon as the day to do the meetings. Also doing them weekly. It's not bad to do weekly but as weeks go on less and less people will show up,
I think Adams and the management team could have picked a different day of the week. Friday afternoons normally people "check-out" for the weekends, so people don't want to go sit in a meeting and learn about how the company is doing. So doing it on a Wednesday morning around 10am or 11am might make it where people will come because it's in the middle of the week and the morning. I will say the refreshments are a good touch, most people will come for the refreshments then leave. Another thinks they could fix is doing a mandatory monthly meeting for all the departments to come together and do the meeting. If its mandatory, you'll know if someone is missing and if someone can't come have them tell the management team.
Like I said up above changing the day of the meeting and time of meeting. Also, instead of doing once a week do once a month. I don't think it should be canceled since they said some people requested for these meetings to happen. I think if its more then 60% of works asking for something then something should happen. I think it's good that Adam and the team jumped right into it and made it happen quickly. With a few changes i think the meetings will work out.
