Reflecting on my capstone project's completion, I see it as a significant milestone in my academic journey, dedicated to addressing a specific need within the organization. The project aimed to strengthen the U.S. Army Recruiting Command's (USAREC) ability to select qualified Army Recruiters through a thorough needs analysis. While I'm proud of the project's execution, there are things I wish I had known earlier, especially about effectively communicating and collaborating with stakeholders. Recognizing the importance of engaging all parties more thoroughly would have likely improved the implementation process and outcomes. When everyone knows what they have to do, and who the contact person for each topic is, there will be more clarity and accountability across stakeholders. As such, there will be less duplicate work carried out, and fewer mistakes (Hughes, C., (n.d.).

If I were to extend the project, my next steps would involve carefully analyzing post-assessment results to identify areas needing further refinement. Additionally, I would prioritize ongoing communication and collaboration with leaders and trainers to foster continuous improvement. By staying receptive to feedback and addressing evolving needs, I believe the project could become a sustainable and impactful initiative within USAREC, contributing to the organization's long-term success in recruiting and retaining top talent.
