It could be related to the Coronavirus pandemic, the political climate, changes due to technology/the economy/consumer demand, etc., and how leaders are identifying and adapting to resolve issues. Keep in mind leadership at different levels--as an ER doctor, a CEO, or a first line manager of a medical supply company may face different issues.

Identify three current problems facing a company, educational institution, community, city, state or nation and answer the questions below. Identify the leader behaviors necessary to address the issues. Also, Identify at least one adaptive challenge and apply the six leader behaviors to that situation (last bullet point).

Answer the following for the challenges:

• What kind of challenge is it--technical; technical and adaptive; or adaptive?
• If it is a technical challenge--who is mainly responsible for resolving it?
• If it is a blended challenge--what is the leaders' role in resolving the issue and what is the employees' role or citizens' role in resolving it? How can the two parties work together?
