1. Describe a theory of personality ( use the camps) and then describe a deliberate process for changing personality.

In my analysis of personality, I would like to draw attention to the Social Cognitive theory in response to the discussion question. This theory explains how personality is shaped by observing, learning, and imitating others, and then deciding whether or not to replicate their behavior. Unlike the behaviorist perspective which emphasizes external influences such as reward and punishment, the social-cognitive perspective highlights the role of the person's thought process in motivation and actions. The processes of how a change in personality can occur are by incentivizing behavioral change, observing the positive and negative outcomes of others' attempts, and believing, understanding and potentially having the opportunity to perform certain changes.

2. Provide a vignette (example) of how this can occur. Get into some details

An example of this process would be an individual who observes positive outreach towards a homeless person, where someone had given the person food to eat, thus establishing a more selfless behavior going forward within the individual. Another example could be a young adult or teen, who visually notices others at a party who partake in impairments or other irresponsible and unsafe acts, making them louder and obnoxious compared to those which who aren't involved in such acts.

In understanding these things, an individual becomes aware of the underlying effects of the influences around them, which consciously assists them in changing or beginning the idea of making a decision and later becoming a vital mechanism for them.
