The donated blood is spun in centrifuges to separate it into transfusable components. For the successful separation of the blood components, four ingredients are required. However, separating the blood into different components is not free. The prices of these ingredients, the ingredient units needed for each blood type, and the corresponding available ingredients are given in the following table. a.
