Two different parts arrive at a facility for processing. Part As arrive with interarrival times following a normal distribution with a mean of 11.5 minutes and standard deviation of 2.0 minutes; the first arrival is at time 0. Part Bs arrive with interarrival times following an exponential distribution with mean of 15 minutes; the first arrival is at time 0 . All arriving parts wait in the same first in first out(FIFO) queue until an operator is available to process them (there is only one such operator in the facility). The processing time for each Part A follows a triangular distribution with parameters 8,12 , and 14 minutes, and part B's processing time is always 10 minutes (fixed). The operator takes a one-hour break in the middle of the shift (s/he works four hours, takes a one-hour of break, then works four more hours); s/he always finishes processing the current part before beginning her/his break. After being processed by the operator, all parts are sent to an automatic machine for processing (this machine does not require an operator), which has processing times distributed as triangular with parameters of 8,12 , and 17 minutes for both part types. All parts share the same FIFO queue for this automatic machine. The automatic machine experiences breakdowns after processing UNIF(10,15) parts. When a breakdown occurs, the machine stops immediately (the machine resumes processing the part after the repair). Repair times are distributed uniformly with parameters 7 and 18 minutes. The final process is quality control, during which all parts are inspected. The inspection time distribution is Expo (4) minutes, regardless of part type. On average, 8% of all parts fail inspection and are scrapped. The parts that pass inspection are classified as "good" and are sent out of the system. This system operates for nine hours. Model the system using Arena. Run one replication of a single 9-hour day. For this problem, submit the following: A copy of the flowchart model window, a. How many parts are sent to scrap? b. What percentage of time was the automatic machine busy? c. What is the average number of parts waiting to be processed by the automatic machine? d. On average, how much time (in hours) does it take a part to get to the quality inspection process
