Group 10 members, led by our leader, Vraj, have decided to work on the Project "Construction of a new small house." 1.2 Detailed Description The project shall be the construction of a 2-bedroom house on a 15m15m(225m2) plot of land, complete with landscaping (lawns and walkways). It is intended to provide a comfortable living for a young couple with a baby. The construction will adhere to the optimum safety standards as required. The construction drawings shall be included in our final report to serve as a basis for our construction and PMP. However, the essential components of the 2-bedroom house per our discussion and agreement shall include: - A front porch - A living room - A kitchen of standard size with outdoor porch - Two rooms of standard sizes - One washroom, complete with wash hand basin, water closet and shower. The new house shall be made of - Sardcrete, blocks with cement mortar rendering. - Concrete flooring with Ceramic Tile Floor Finish - IDT coloured roofing sheets - Plywood ceiling - Panel doors - Potable water connections with outlets - Complete Electrical Wiring with General Power Outlets (GPOs) 1.3 Budget and Timelines - The total budget for the project shall be $30man - Construction is expected to be completed within 12-15 months (including permitting). 1.4 Exclusions - There shall be no basement or suspended floor in the building. - There shall be no provision for a septic tank since the sewer line will be integrated into the main sewer lines for onward treatmentStep by Step Solution
