Practical Project Work Assignment

1. Students will be required to prepare a practical work assignment. It is an individual

assignment. They will be given a maximum of 15 marks.

2. Students will be required to virtually construct an application circuit that uses

operational amplifiers as part of the design. Please simulate the circuit using

Multisim or other circuit simulators and produce the results.

3. Ground rule

1. Please do not choose exact circuits that are being done in the lab experiments. However you many modify or add in features to the existing lab circuits.

4. Students will need to search for an application that uses an input sensing method, signal conditioning/processing and output display or other control circuit.

5. Students will need to submit their project title and the circuit diagram in week 6. No two projects can be the same. The submitted projects will be scrutinized to remove similar projects.

6. Students need to submit short write up of the working principle of their chosen project in week 7

7. Observations /conclusion/references (2 marks) - Assignment

5. The project will be due in week 13/14 .

6. The marks obtained are not a bonus mark to be added to your total marks.
