The project can be in the form of a construction of structures, acquisition of a company. implementation of ERP, Expansion of facility or a tumkey project. Task - Report The candidate should prepare a detailed report and a summarised presentation to be submitted to a business partner with the following information. 1. Analyse the methodology applied in the project management. Recommend suitable improvisations using the learned methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBoK. The candidate is expected to contribute and recommend course of action towards the successful accomplishment of project objectives. (AC 1.1.1.3) 2. Apply learned tools such as PERT! CPM. Gantt Charts. Milestone charts. etc. in managing projects successfully and evaluate how the tools have contributed to the project management stages. Also assess the feasibility of the project. (AC 1.2, 1.4, 2.3) 3. Create an organizational structure to carry out the project. (AC 2.1 ,3.1) 4. Dene the roles and responsibililtes of the project manager and team members. Enlist the qualities required by the project manager to resolve project management issues. Identify any change management situation and recommend the change required to manage the project successfully. (AC 2.2, 3.3.3.4) 5. Detail out the quality management processes to be used in a project. (AC 3.2) 6. Identify and analyse the various risks faced. This should include a description of the risk and its potential impacts on the project deliverables such as schedule, quality. cost. etc. It is important to name risks effectively - use words that describe the risk event and point to the impact on the project. Apply the risk identication methods to identify the indicators or triggers that would be monitored to help identify the risk at an early stage. (AC 4.1.4.2) 7. Prepare an action plan on necessary project tasks to be completed in the nal stages of a project (AC 4.3)
