The name, amount and the date the machinery is needed for the project is recorded. 5) Engineers can have three levels of insurance: Premier, Economy, and Basic. An engineer can also choose not to have any insurance. Associated with each insurance policy is an engineer's spouse, children, and a unique policy number. 6) The company is divided into departments and an engineer works in a specific department. A department has a manager, name, unique ID number, and maintains the total number of employees working in that department as well. Draw the Entity-Relationship diagram for this application. Specify key attributes of each entity and structural constraints on each relationship. Note any unspecified requirements, and make appropriate assumptions so as to make the specification complete.
