PMI Project management ready certification is meant for one who is new to project work. It is an entry-level for someone to build foundation knowledge and skill. Taking this certification helps to create value for someone that can showcase their ability in understanding business delivery. There are no requirements such as working experience and minimum education level to attempt the exam. To attempt the exam, one has to take 47 questions and spend 50 minutes completing it. Once the certification is attained, there are no requirements to maintain it, unlike PMP certification. If taking a PMI project management ready certification is not attractive enough for one who is keen on pursuing a project management career, there are other options within the framework under the PMI project management ready certifications. One can consider taking any of the other certifications such as certified associate in project management, PMI agile certified practitioner, disciplined agile scrum master, and discipline senior scrum master. Of course, there are requirements to fulfill before attempting these certifications. For early career seekers, it is advisable to obtain PMI project management ready certification and then gradually build up the knowledge and skills if one deems that is the career path to seek.
