Policy Memo Afghanistan:

a) Describe the current state of its governanceis it on the path to democracy? is it stable? is it regressing? b) Assume you are writing this formal memo to me and I hold the role of a decisionmaker at State, USAID or the National Security Council. Your task is to advise me on this country and what our foreign policy and foreign assistance policy should be so that the US can help move the country along the path to stable democracy, being sure to note what advantages and disadvantages the country can expect in such an effort. c) Use examples of good ideas and bad ideas from other countries that have trod the same path.
