Can you please explain what is meant by asset categories and is the professor asking for five from each of the list or five total.

Choose five different asset categories from the following list: stocks, bonds, ETF's, Mutual funds, real estate, options, precious metals, or collectibles. This week you will establish the foundation for the creation and analysis of an investment portfolio which you will build over the next 5 weeks. You need to describe each asset class you have chosen and your reason for choosing each asset type.

• Definition of your portfolio and portfolio objectives 20 pts
• Rationale behind asset choices in portfolio and proper Application of course terms and concepts 40 pts
