Hereditary diseases is becoming more of a problem as human population grows exponentially. Genetic testing helps to varying degrees to determine children who might be susceptible to genetic disorders. There is huge data on different clinical tests and meta data on children's genetic disorders, but no coherent approach for a systematic large study on modelling prediction of genetic disorders based on collected data.
You will use the provided dataset which medical data on children, metadata on the children’s parent’s medical history and outcome variables (genetic disorders) to build a machine learning model(s) to predict genetic disorders in children given the underlying data.
Ideally you want to use classification methods on a train and test dataset to achieve this.
Explain in writing about the model and the significance of the mode and how it ties into the project.
