The two regular education students involved admitted to punching and hitting one another before the teacher could break up the altercation. One student's eyeglasses are broken. The teacher witnessed that one student clearly started the fight and has been known to bully other students in the recent past. The teacher writes a referral and turns the matter over to you.

How do you proceed with student discipline in this case? Make sure to discuss the due process as it relates to student discipline. Furthermore, you may want to include some form of restorative justice in the follow-up to the fight.
