Prepare a working Capital Forecast with following Info: Production during previous year was 10,00,000 Units. The same level of activity is intended to be maintained during current year. Expected Ratios of Cost to Selling Price as below: Raw Materials 40%, Direct Wages 20%, Overheads 20%. The raw material ordinary remains in stores for 3 months before production. Every unit of production remains in process for 2 months & assumed to be consisting of 100% of Raw Materials, Wages & Overheads. Finished Goods remain in warehouse for 3 Months. Credit allowed by creditors in 4 months from date of delivery of raw materials & credit to Debtors in 3 months from date of dispatch. The estimated balance of cash to be held Rs. 200,000. Lag in payment of wages 1/2 month. Lag in payment of expenses 1/2 month. Selling Price Rs. 8/- per Unit. Both production & sales are in regular cycle. Keep 10% cash. Relevant assumptions can be made.
