Astrophysical Ventures (AV) is a subcontractor for the NASAs Artemis Project. AV is an engineering company that is designing living modules that will be placed on the lunar surface. The company employs:

• 200 engineers with a variety of specialties,
• 10 Architects
• 60 CAD Drafters and Designers
• 200 manufacturing workers,
• 30 administrative/clerical employees,
• 15 manufacturing supervisors,
• 16 managers.

As the Artemis Project progresses, the company plans to grow its workforce as it begins working on modules that will sustain life on the Moon.

Part of the requirements for maintaining status as a federal government contractor are up-to-date job descriptions, which requires in-depth job analysis for all positions in the company. In addition, the job descriptions are critical for recruiting and selecting new employees.

You have been hired as the consultant responsible for the job analysis project.
