Presently, almost all previous employers won't share anything of substance with potential new employers that call for reference. Only beginning and ending dates of employment are commonly shared. The danger of sharing more is that if inaccurate, the previous employer would be liable, hence the safest policy to say nothing. However, people have been terminated from previous employment because they exhibited dangerous behavior and have ended up harming people at their new employment. What change(s) could practically be made to solve this dilemma?
