Prime minister Boris Johnson should receive a ventilator as long as he is the healthiest patient in need of one. When deciding who gets the lifesaving ventilator it should go to the person that has the best chance of surviving. Sometimes when someone is put on a ventilator, they never get well enough to come off it and then eventually pass away still. Ventilators need to go the person who will get the best use out of it. The prime minister being 55 years old means there may be people younger and healthier or there could be people older who have less of a chance of surviving. He is on the cusp of being counted against. His lack of concern about the virus at the start cannot have any aspect on the decision. Someone's decision cannot decide if they are "worthy" of live saving treatment it cannot be personal. When deciding who gets a ventilator it has to go off of who has the best chance of surviving
