• Prior to starting data collection, you are reviewing the calling sample and hours available. The sample is randomized, with the 1000 records for quota 1 mixed in with the 16,000 records for quota 2.
• Each record is identified whether it's for quota 1 or 2.
• Requirement: 20 completed surveys for quota 1 & 60 completed surveys for quota 2.
• Requirement: maximize total number of completed surveys.
• You know that the flow rate (completed surveys per hour per interviewer) will be 1.50 for quota 1 and 0.60 for quota 2.
• Time available: 2 days; 80 calling hours; can't get extra interviewers.
