Prior to the resentment of war many soldiers found themselves \"anxious for the fray\" . Many who were yet to see any action became irritated by the boredom of base guarding. Some became so eager for battle that they were willing to venture into dangerous territory's to find their own taste of war. But many of those eager soldiers were left with a very sour taste in their mouth after the first battle. That sour taste was more than many could handle again, but true honorable soldiers were willing to grit their teeth and continue serving their duty.
