Problem 3 (10 Points) (This problem is similar to the problem for problem session. Please notice that we have added two more patients here.) A hospital hires you to help them improve their triage process. The doctors need help deciding whether patients with chest disc0mfort are experiencing a heart attack or merely have indigestion. When patients with chest pain arrive in the ER, their blood is drawn and the levels of three proteins Creatine kinase, Myoglobin, and Troponin are recorded. This is a new procedure and so far the hospital only has recorded these protein levels in nine patients with chest-pain ve of whom, it turned out, were experiencing indigestion and four of whom were in fact experiencing a heart attack. These records are tabulated below. Creatine kinase (units / L) Indigestion Myoglobin (ng/mL) Troponin ( ,ug / L) 10 Indigestion 20 Indigestion 15 Indigestion Indigestion Heart attack 10 15 15 Heart attack 15 Heart attack Heart attack 25 20 me these data points you decide to build a linear classier in order to distinguish heart attack cases frOm indigestion cases. (a) Write a linear program which nds a (not necessarily strictly) separating hyperplane that optimally separates the Indigestion cases from the Heart attack cases, i.e., that minimizes the sum of the violations. (b) Solve the linear program using Excel
