In a randomized controlled trial in Kenya, bed nets treated with insecticide were tested as a way to reduce malaria. In the study, subjects are divided into two groups. In group #1, among 343 infants using bed nets, 15 developed malaria. In group #2, among 294 infants not using bed nets, 27 developed malaria.
