R - 500 0. The potential difference between the plates of C, is 12.0 V, and C2 is uncharged. (b) In the next step, we will consider what happens when the switch is closed. But first, work out what the charge will be on each of the capacitors long after the switch has been closed. Show your work. (c) The switch is closed at time / = 0. By looping around the circuit, obtain a differential equation which can be integrated to find the charge on C2 as a function of time. Take the current to be positive when it is flowing clockwise through the circuit. (d) Perform the integration to get the charge on C2 as an explicit function of time.
