Problem The XYZ University uses MS Excel as an enrollment system that needs manual entry of students during admission. Furthermore, different worksheets are not connected and, thus, need to be updated one by one. The approach utilized by the University is tedious and error-prone, resulting in a slow enrollment/admission process. Goal The IT department of the university proposed a simple enrollment system to effectively increase the operations' accuracy. The proposed system will serve as a base system that expert programmers can use to improve the automation process of XYZ University further. To start the base system, your tasks are limited to course encoding in the system that students can see. System Components The enrollment system must at least have the components below: - Admin/Faculty module - The module can be used by the university official to encode courses that will be offered next term. - Student module - The module can be used by students to enroll in the courses that they want for the upcoming term. - Registration module - The module can be used by both students and university officials to register an account and flag whether that account is student/admin.
