Professor Balkaran wants to sell his Bugatti Car and advertises it in the local FIU newspaper at $1,370,000, giving his telephone number, one of his students at FIU sees the advertisement and rings Professor Balkaran and makes an appointment to see the car. Student A likes the car but cannot agree a price with Prof. Balkaran, his highest offer being $1, 250,000. while Professor Balkaran insists on $1, 370,000. On the following Monday, Professor Balkaran sends a letter from Student A offering him the car for $1, 300 000 and says that Student A can have until 12. 00 pm-noon on Friday to think about the new offer. On Wednesday evening another Student from Professor Balkaran LAW 250 Class meets Student A at South Beach and informed Student A that he bought the car earlier that day for $1, 367,000. Student A goes straight home and writes a letter to Professor Balkaran, with intent to sue based on a basis of breach contract. He posts the letter immediately and Professor Balkaran receives it on Thursday morning but replies by return saying "You are too late. I have sold the car to someone else."
