Professor Eggzam is concerned about the ten worst-performing students in his class who failed the midterm test. In order to help these students, he administers an intensive tutoring program so that they can do better on the final exam (do not critique program logic or that it doesn't say what the program involves). After going through the tutoring program, all ten students improved their scores for the final exam. Based on this finding, he concludes that his intensive tutoring program may be associated with the improvement in scores for the final exam but notes that this could have also happened due to regression to the mean.
