a. Evaluation:This means you judge whatever it is you are reviewing. You say whether it is good or not (but don't use "good"use words that capture the spirit of your opinion). Since a documentary is a kind of argument itself, part of this evaluation will be on how compelling or effective you think the argument is.

b. Criteria:This means what you use to evaluate the subject of your review. These are your reasons. There is something about the documentary that you find particularly compelling, interesting, weak, etc. It can also includehowthe filmmakers tell their storywhat kinds of support they use; what kinds of rhetorical appeals they make; and why or why not they make a convincing argument.

c. Support:This is simply evidence to support your reasons for evaluating the subject the way that you do. For a documentary film, it could be scenes, dialogue, and how the filmmakers use rhetorical strategies to get the message across. You can also examine how the filmmakers use transitions, music, cinematography, etc. in creating the overall "feel" or tone of the film.
