Project 5.2 Submission Dear Students: PROJECT 5.2's purpose is to help you understand Sales of Goods among Merchants. Your posts must remain on this topic. Off-topic posts cannot receive points. The UCC treats contracts among Merchants with special rules as compared to Common Law's Contract Law. Please pay close attention to the differences. Please answer the following questions: Q1: Firsten Company (FC) often sells soda and related products to Consumption Inc (CI) , which owns and operates a chain of soda shops. Over the phone, representatives of the two firms negotiate a sale of 2,454 cases of certain kinds of soda. FC sends a letter to CI detailing the terms and ten days later ships the soda. . Is there an enforceable contract between them? Explain. . Cite ONLY your textbook/source for support. . Discuss how your source's information applies. . Do not cite to any other source or penalties will be applied. . Your answer will be graded upon its quality. (QUALITATIVELY GRADED). CAUTION: Your posts must remain on-topic for full points. If your post(s) discuss matters not directly related to "Sales of Goods among Merchants" your post(s) will NOT score points. Q2: Taply, Inc., offers to sell to Joanna's Company, headquartered in Idaho, one thousand hard disk drives at $105 each. Their agreement is subject to certain specific delivery dates. Joanna's replies with a signed request to purchase order that reads, "Joanna's accepts your offer for 105 e-drives at $105 each. Must be delivered to our warehouse in Florida." Taply does nothing. Joanna's files a suit for breach of contract, to which Taply answers that there cannot be a contract because Joanna's' order contained additional terms and Taply did not agree to such in writing (no signature). . Can Joanna's recover? Explain. . Cite ONLY your textbook/source for support. . Discuss how your source's information applies. . Do not cite to any other source or penalties will be applied. Your answer will be graded upon its quality. (QUALITATIVELY GRADED). (The phrase "qualitatively graded" means that a review of the student's work will emphasize the ability to analyze facts, generate and organize ideas, defend opinions, make comparisons, draw inferences, evaluate arguments (read the questions accurately) and solve problems. Thus, to score points in projects that will be qualitatively graded, your posts must interpret, analyze, and evaluate the project's purpose and questions. It must through proper resources explain the evidential, conceptual, and contextual considerations upon which your judgment is based)
