Project: Azure VM Workload Data Analysis (Due:30/12/2020) Description In this project you are responsible for analyzing traces of Azure VM workload in some geographical region and represent them in a meaningful way. At the end of this project you have to submit a report that meets the following requirements: 1- Description of the dataset(s) / files used in this project. This includes the source, what the data is, the number of fields (columns), number of entries (rows) and the description of each field. 2- Numerous plots that show meaningful information related to the Azure VM workload. The displayed data should include some dynamic data that is computed using different fields and cannot be concluded from the excel sheet easily. You must choose the plot type that presents your data in the most meaningful way. Every plot must be done with proper titles, labels, legends, etc. For each plot you have to include: a. The code used to generate the plot b. A brief description for each plot Dataset Resources You are required to use the following data set in this project. https://github.com/Azure Azure Public Dataset/blob/master/Azur ePublic DatasetLinks V2.txt Only download the files one-by-one as needed. Do not download the entire dataset as you do not need it and it is huge in size! It is compulsory to use the following files from the dataset in your analysis: azure2819_data/category.txt asure 2019_data/cores. .txt azure2019_data/cpu.txt /azure2019_data/deployment.txt /azure2019_data/lifetine.txt azure 2019_dataemory.txt /trace_data/ymtable/vmtable.csv.g2 /trace_data/deployments/deployments.cs. /trace_data/subscriptions/subscriptions.csv.gz And you must randomly choose any of the 195 vm_cpu_readings files that are listed after the compulsory traces. Since you are working in groups, and we have 195 possible files, it should be unlikely that any two groups will pick up the same file. Be careful to avoid plagiarism!
