Project Cost Summary Overall, the project cost will entail the total cost that will be required to monetarily cover the entire project from start to finish. For this project, the project cost summary will include eight categories i.e. human resources i.e. salary for the permanent and temporary team members, travelling spending, training fees, material; resources, research expenses i.e. data and studies to support the project, professional services i.e. market research firms, consultants and legal advice. The cost summary will also have capital expenditures on technical upgrades and equipment as well as contingency reserves for budget overruns and for flexibility. The project cost summary will be prepared by breaking down the project into milestones and tasks, estimating cost of each item, adding the estimates and finally adding taxes and contingency to make sure that the project will not go over the budget. Project Risk Analysis The risk analysis will entail examining how the goals i.e. developing and implementing a comprehensive employee retention program over the next three months, conducting employee surveys to gauge job satisfaction and engagement, and implementing changes change based on survey responses over the next six months and outcomes may change because of an impact of risk events. The risk analysis will entail examining internal factors that may impede the attainment of the goals within the stipulated time including lack of coordination, lack of clear goals, lack of motivation of team members and unavailable requirements. External factors such as the legal, political, sociocultural and technological environments also affect research projects hence they will also be analysed. The assumptions when carrying out risk analysis will include that the participants will respond to the survey and that team members will be cooperative. The steps that will be taken will include identifying the risk, determining the probability, determining the impact, treating the risks and finally monitoring and reviewing the risks. Implementation Arrangements The implementation arrangements will include setting clear goals and defining the variables, determining the roles, the responsibilities and the relationships to achieving the goals. Additionally, implementation arrangements will include delegating the work to ensure success. Afterwards the plan will be executed, the progress monitored and continuous support provided. Corrective action will then be taken as necessary. The team will then be briefed on their expectations and finally, a review of the whole process will be done. Project tracking and progress reporting Milestones are very effective in tracking significant progress in a research project. Therefore for this project, tracking will be done by the use of the Gantt chart to set and track the milestones as well as the other deliverables. The provision of a high-level overview of the data generated from the project will be put down in an easy to use format in the report. Project reporting will be done on a weekly basis so as to stay on track for effective monitoring and communication of the scope, budget, time and progress. Conclusion In conclusion, the project research will provide a sustainable source of renewable energy that will act as a substitute to non-renewable natural gas for daily energy usage by producing bio-methane at the wastewater treatment facility. The proposed project aims to solve the problem of high employee turnover in our organization. The scope of the project includes the implementation of a comprehensive employee retention program that improves job satisfaction and engagement, which ultimately leads to lower turnover rates.
