Project Idea: Smart Flashlight

Create a microcontroller-based Smart Flashlight (using LEDs) that can do at least three of the following things, each on command (via an input):

Produce at least three levels of the same color of light using PWM

Blink in an "SOS" Morse Code pattern ( * * * -- -- -- * * * )

Choose from at least three colors of light to display

Produce at least two different non-trivial light colors (I.E. either red, green, and/or blue is at partial power)

Turn itself off automatically after five minutes with no input

Flicker like a candle (like the "breathe" sketch, only faster / random)

Produce a strobe effect with controllable speed (Please don't do this one if you're sensitive to flashing lights.)

"Sunrise" function: Brighten from 0-100 over a one-minute period

"Sunset" function: Dim from 100-0 over a one-minute period
