Project Management- Website developmentA nonprofit organization would like you to lead a website development project for the organization. The organization have internet access that includes space on a web server, but has no experience developing web pages or web sites. In addition to creating their website, they would like you to train two people on their staff to do simple web page updates. The organization wants their website to include the following basic information, as a minimum: description of the organization (mission, history, and recent events), list of services, and contact information. They want the website to include graphics (photographs and other images) and have an attractive easy to use layout. Requirements: (In this particular case the non-profit would be a food bank)

1. Develop a business case by identifying the following (one sentence for each would be sufficient)

a. Purpose

b. Alternatives considered

c. Benefits that are hoped to be realized

d. Risks

2. Identify project tasks and develop a work breakdown structure.

3. Create a schedule to maintain project costs. Assume you have three people working on the project, and each of them would charge $20 per hour. Estimate that each person will spend an average of about five hours per week for the four-month period.
