Due to the size and scope of the Disney Land Villains project it is crucial to ensure several smaller teams are assembled. Each member selected for a specific team must have the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the task outlined and meet the deliverable deadlines. Project Managers will monitor team through each development stage and intervene only when needed. By doing this, teams will be able to maintain their team identity while still having slight overview from the Project Managers. All teams will be self-managed as this will give them the ability to make the operational decisions necessary to meet project objectives (Cobb, 2012).
