Consumer electronics is a growing business in the United States, as many American companies have started to produce and sell large 4K Ultra HD television sets. However, there is still stiff competition from foreign-owned companies like Sony, which also sell their televisions and electronics in the United States. In order to keep out these foreign electronics (especially those affordable Sony televisions), Senator Patrick Turner has proposed placing a limit on the number of televisions (and other electronics) that can be imported into the United States each month.
