We utilized the National Library of Medicine to collect data from meta-data analysis studies in the United States between 2008 and 2021.This is time-series and individual-level data. We plan to perform a quantitative review using collected from meta-analysis results across studies. The variables for this research include the targeted length of intervention, initial HgA1c, mode of DSME delivery (individual, Group or Combination) for glycemic control. Constructing meta-analysis of the effect of DSME on HgA1c using the random-effects model. A systemic review and meta-analysis to be used to obtain blood glucose levels with mean differences. Also, the quantitative research design will allow us to analyze pre and post-comparison groups with multivariate regression methods.
