Proposed program: Play based therapy and Family counseling for Head start programs in Orleans and Genesee County NY

- Currently in Orleans and Genesee County there are no programs that exist to bridge mental health at the early childhood level and bring the intervention into an educational setting. There are early intervention programs that are set up to help with developmental delays, such as speech problems, fine and gross motor, and behavioral issues. These services however work with a therapist (SLP, PT, or OT) coming in and working on a specific goal that is not mental health related.
