Prospero owns a bookstore and often gives away flyers advertising various books and events. These flyers are next to other expensive and rare items. One day, a leather-clad Hercules enters the store and makes off with a rare manuscript. He escapes, pursued by Prospero, but goes missing on the crowded street outside. Prospero is furious. Several hours later, a leather-clad Jason enters the bookstore, looks carefully at the flyers, and then goes to the restroom. Prospero sees that a man in a leather jacket is interested in the brochures and worries that Hercules has returned for a second manuscript. Taking matters into his own hands, Prospero locks the restroom door from the outside in the false belief that Hercules is indeed back in the bookstore. Terrified, Jason screams out to no avail and so, after an hour, he decides to exit through an open window. Balancing on a rickety chair, Jason falls and injures himself in the course of his escape. When asked, Jason later agrees that he could have easily 'slid under the restroom door' but that such an unsanitary route was 'just too shocking to contemplate'.
