Provide annotated bibliography of three sources

Early Childhood Education

The macro policy advocacy issue that I will be discussing is the importance of early childhood education. I believe that it is important for our elected and unelected government officials to be educated on this issue so that they can make informed decisions about policy changes that may impact early childhood education. There are numerous benefits of early childhood education, including improved academic performance, increased social and emotional skills, and increased employment opportunities (Baker, 2019; Barnett, 2020; Tout, 2020). Furthermore, research has shown that high-quality early childhood education can reduce crime rates, improve health outcomes, and increase earnings later in life (Baker, 2019; Barnett, 2020; Tout, 2020). Given the numerous benefits of early childhood education, I believe that it is important for our government officials to be informed about this issue so that they can make informed decisions about policies that may impact early childhood education.
