provide feedback on the below argument According to americanbar.org The confidentiality rule, for example, applies not only to matters communicated in confidence by the client but also to all information relating to the representation, whatever its source. A lawyer may not disclose such information except as authorized or required by the Rules of Professional Conduct or other law. This is a hard question to answer because my first thought would be for client/attorney privilege would stand with no obligation to report the crime. There would be one exception and that is if said crime involved a minor. In this case the attorney would have to divulge this information to prosecution. With the exception of minors, confidentiality in my view should not end. While paralegals are barred from being a participant of the attorney-client privilege, they must behave in a manner that upholds and protects the rights held between an attorney and a client. Paralegals are legally and ethically required to do so. In the case State ex rel. Koster v. Cain Garnishee and debtor filed a motion to quash creditor's garnishment, alleging that the garnishment sought to enforce an underlying contempt judgment and that the contempt judgment was void. They claimed that the garnishment interrogatories sought attorney-client privileged information. The trial court's Judgment concluded that the trial court erroneously quashed the garnishment on the basis of the attorney-client privilege
